Fred Setters

Hi my name is Fred Setters and my love affair with radio first began when I was 8 years old listening to Radio Luxembourg during warm summer evenings back in 1974 – and that love continues to this day! One of the greatest privileges, when presenting a radio show, is the connection we have with our listeners. Sometime during a show, when I’m sharing my musical memories, I’m often struck how those memories resonate with the listener too and for me that’s very special. My radio career started out as a volunteer presenter in Hospital Radio back in 2012 and I’ve been producing my own shows for other radio stations since 2016 – I’m really proud to be a part of the presenting team at Northland Radio and hope that you enjoy sharing some musical memories with me.
