The human staff at Northland Radio curates a wide variety of music for our listeners: Classic Rock from the 60s through the 90s (yes, the 90s are "classic" now!) and independent local music, highlighting Alaskan, Canadian and First Nations artists. Then, our automated playout system takes over and includes fully AI DJs and Presenters (we have a few human ones too ~ you guess which is which!) to play and present our wide variety of music. Our mission is to keep the people of the vast Alaskan and Canadian Interiors both entertained with great music and well informed of area events and weather impacting their communities and villages. Using cutting edge technology and broadcasting from the heart of Outback Alaska (thanks Starlink), Northland Radio streams the spirit of the great northern lands of North America to the world!
